A literary reading to celebrate the publication of John Tottenham‘s debut novel, Service. A darkly comic novel set on the lower slopes of the Los Angeles literary world, Service examines the plight of the unrepentant artistic outsider in an unforgiving day and age.

This event will launch Service in Los Angeles, with a reading by the author followed by a conversation and audience Q&A, on Thursday, April 24, 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at 2220 Arts + Archives.

We Live in Painting: The Nature of Color in Mesoamerican Art
