Christmas Holiday display of our finest antiques, Santa Clauses, angels, choir boys, and village scenes that depict Dickens’s Victorian Christmas. Our Christmas tree will be decorated with our collection of antique ornaments and there will be a display of vintage Christmas cards.
Enjoy traditional Chinese music on Wednesday afternoons in the Garden of Flowing Fragrance. A different solo musician performs each week, playing unamplified melodies on classical instruments including the dizi, pipa, and erhu. Let the music transport you to another time and place as you stroll through one of the most magical landscapes in Southern California.
The Compton College Farmers’ Market hosts regional farmers like JM Produce, C&L Farms, and Angelo Ranch. It also features local Compton and South LA-based food vendors like Pucker Up Lemonade, Kathy’s Kitchen, Fun Time Kettle Corn, and more!
Celebrate LGBTQIA+ Heritage Month by learning the basics of drawing and making comics with Shannon Watters, the co-creator and co-writer of the comic book series Lumberjanes and the graphic novel Hollow. No previous skills needed…just an open heart and a willingness to put pencil to paper. Anyone can draw comics!
Free Citizenship classes. Learn the civics, government, interview, and language skills needed for the Naturalization process. Students must have a green card.
