 A free one-hour concert in the same park where the Chorus’ story began 45 years ago! Pack a picnic and celebrate LGBTQ+ pride as they sing their favorite hit songs from recent concerts. They will be singing the best of the best, and you will get a sneak peek at their upcoming June 30 concert performance Solid Gold: Aretha, Dionne, & Whitney. Attendees may bring low-backed chairs, cushions, or blankets to sit on.

TEAM TAIKO JAPANESE DRUM LESSONS

Taiko is a drumming practice originating from Japan that has become a global phenomenon over the last several decades. World-renowned taiko artist ManMan Mui teaches drumming patterns over 8-week sessions. Lessons include developing rhythm, body awareness, and technique as students make music together as a team. Team Taiko is open to all, from beginners to seasoned musicians.

This visually stunning production tells the story of sixteen-year-old Pi, who survives a shipwreck and is stranded on a lifeboat with a hyena, a zebra, an orangutan, and a Bengal tiger.
