It’s Family Art Workshop with Angels Gate Cultural Center! Angels Gate offers monthly free art workshops. All are welcome. Art activities for kids and adults, ages 1 to 101!

Join Artist-Teacher Anna Erneholm for January’s Family Art Workshop where participants will explore the special material of newspaper! There are so many things we can construct with a paper we all have in our homes! Newspaper is different from other papers because it is thin, but can also be strong. Lets experiment together and discover the tallest and strongest structures we can build!

Meet your teacher in Building A’s Gallery and we will walk over to the Rorke Classroom in G together.

All materials are provided. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Pets are not allowed inside our galleries or classrooms.

TEAM TAIKO JAPANESE DRUM LESSONS

Taiko is a drumming practice originating from Japan that has become a global phenomenon over the last several decades. World-renowned taiko artist ManMan Mui teaches drumming patterns over 8-week sessions. Lessons include developing rhythm, body awareness, and technique as students make music together as a team. Team Taiko is open to all, from beginners to seasoned musicians.

Experience the Tony and Olivier Award-winning play Life of Pi, based on Yann Martel’s best-selling novel. This visually stunning production tells the story of sixteen-year-old Pi, who survives a shipwreck and is stranded on a lifeboat with a hyena, a zebra, an orangutan, and a Bengal tiger.
