Celebrate Mexican Independence Day by making papel picado, traditional hanging banners made by folding and cutting colorful sheets of tissue paper into creative designs. String them together to hang them outside for the celebration, and save your hanging banner to display for Dia de los Muertos. All ages are invited.

TEAM TAIKO JAPANESE DRUM LESSONS

Taiko is a drumming practice originating from Japan that has become a global phenomenon over the last several decades. World-renowned taiko artist ManMan Mui teaches drumming patterns over 8-week sessions. Lessons include developing rhythm, body awareness, and technique as students make music together as a team. Team Taiko is open to all, from beginners to seasoned musicians.
