Join historian and educator Melodie Turori for a thought-provoking discussion on the Treaty of 1898 and its lasting impact on Pasifika communities. This session explores the historical narratives of imperial “possessions” and the ongoing efforts to reclaim and restore Pasifika histories.

JAZZ AT LACMA

Jazz at LACMA is a celebration of L.A.’s finest jazz musicians and has featured such legends as Wayne Shorter, The Yellowjackets, Quincy Jones All Star Orchestra with John Clayton, Arturo Sandoval, Jeff Lorber, Billy Childs, Tierney Sutton, Ernie Watts, and many more.
