Every year the Autry hosts Sizzling Summer Nights, a series of outdoor performances of top and emerging salsa and Latin fusion music scene. Dance the night away with LA’s best salsa and Latin fusion bands at the Autry’s popular summer series. The outdoor events include free salsa lessons with an instructor, access to the museum galleries, and a separate children’s dance floor.
$5 member – $25 non member, RSVP required
There’s nothing more festive than holiday lights throughout the 10-acre Burton Chace Park. The spectacular display of sparkling lights and decor will take place every night throughout December. Enjoy a seaside stroll under the holiday lights. Bring a hot cup of cocoa or pick up food from nearby restaurants. Free.
Winter Glow is an immersive nighttime that will take over Grand Park to celebrate the holidays. As the days shorten and darken, the park will celebrate light as a giver of warmth and beauty.
Enchanted is a one-mile, nighttime walk through distinct lighting displays. Some of the displays are interactive and invite participation, while some are merely there to be observed and enjoyed. Food and beverage options abound at Enchanted. Grab a quick bite, a hot chocolate or an adult beverage within the Enchanted experience.
East West Players’ Theatre for Youth Touring Production presents the the story of Kailani, an 18-year-old senior and star athlete, at Maui High School. While anxiously waiting to find out if she’s been accepted into her dream school, Patsy Mink, the first Asian-American congresswoman and former valedictorian of Maui High school, appears before her.
