Los Angeles–based artist Su Yu-Xin presents her first solo museum exhibition outside Asia, exploring the materiality of color by transforming natural and synthetic materials into pigments. Her work delves into how pigments are extracted from the Earth’s crust and challenges modern color systems by investigating their origins, functions, migrations, and potential futures.
