Visual Medicine: Drawing, Cartooning and Journaling for Healthcare Workers with Julie Williams

Creative activities are proven to reduce stress and reenergize participants. The Visual Medicine workshop offers playful techniques and collaborative exercises to make drawing accessible for all students at any skill level. You will be introduced to cartooning methods designed to access memory, get your hand moving and quickly build drawing confidence. We play with watercolors, paper collage, mixed media and develop a creative journaling habit that can be customized for individual styles.

This FREE multi-week workshop meets every Tuesday from February 4 to April 15, 2025, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. All materials are provided and you will get art supplies to take home.

The workshop is open to the public, age 16 or older. If you would like to invite a co-worker, friend or family member please have them sign up.

We Live in Painting: The Nature of Color in Mesoamerican Art
