As Vladimir and Estragon wait and wait for the arrival of the elusive Godot, a cast of mysterious misfits interrupt their endless vigil in Samuel Beckett’s tragi-comic masterpiece that has captivated audiences for decades. Timeless and multi-layered, Waiting for Godot changed the course of contemporary drama and remains as resonant and riveting as ever.

Fiestas Patrias is among the most significant celebrations in Mexican and Mexican American culture, providing families with an occasion to reaffirm their heritage and identity. Form and Function in the Ancient Americas

Vincent Price Art Museum’s permanent collection includes artworks from ancient civilizations in Central and South America, with a concentration of art from West Mexico and Peru. Form and Function in the Ancient Americas highlights our pre-Columbian collection’s wide range of civilizations. Cultures from the Nayarit-Jalisco-Colima region of West Mexico (2000 – 1000 BCE) to the Chimú of Peru (900-1500 CE) are featured.

Taming the Desert: Resilience, Religion, and Ancestors in Ancient Peru

The exhibition features 34 Moche and Nazca ceramics and textiles drawn from the collections of LACMA and the Fowler Museum at UCLA. The works depict fantastic creatures, powerful ancestors, and mythological beings—illustrating how ancient Andean societies sought spiritual meaning and help in an unpredictable and challenging world.
