The 42nd Annual UCR Pow Wow is a three-day event held annually at the University of California, Riverside (UCR), featuring Native American cultural performances and activities. This year’s event is themed “Healing the Past, Empowering the Future.”

Friday Night Family Flicks at 6:00 p.m. provides free popcorn and movies in our 44 seat micro cinema featuring classic favorites like the Wizard of Oz, Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope, The Princess Bride, Hook, Speed Racer, and Spider-man: Into the Spider-verse.
JAZZ AT LACMA
Jazz at LACMA is a celebration of L.A.’s finest jazz musicians and has featured such legends as Wayne Shorter, The Yellowjackets, Quincy Jones All Star Orchestra with John Clayton, Arturo Sandoval, Jeff Lorber, Billy Childs, Tierney Sutton, Ernie Watts, and many more. Concerts are broadcast on KJAZZ (88.1 FM) every Sunday evening from 7–9 pm and include interviews with featured performers. Jazz at LACMA is produced under the direction of Director of Music Programs Mitch Glickman.

Life of Pi
Experience the Tony and Olivier Award-winning play Life of Pi, based on Yann Martel’s best-selling novel. This visually stunning production tells the story of sixteen-year-old Pi, who survives a shipwreck and is stranded on a lifeboat with a hyena, a zebra, an orangutan, and a Bengal tiger.
