WICKED, the Broadway sensation, looks at what happened in the Land of Oz…but from a different angle.  Long before Dorothy arrives, another young woman is born with emerald-green skin—smart, fiery, misunderstood, and possessing an extraordinary talent. When she meets an exceptionally popular bubbly blonde, their initial rivalry turns into the unlikeliest of friendships…until the world decides to call one “good,” and the other “wicked.

Victorian Christmas

Christmas Holiday display of our finest antiques, Santa Clauses, angels, choir boys, and village scenes that depict Dickens’s Victorian Christmas. Our Christmas tree will be decorated with our collection of antique ornaments and there will be a display of vintage Christmas cards.

Tour of the Historic Lanterman House

Discover the architectural charm of the Lanterman House, a historic site surrounded by patios and featuring thirty-two French doors. Guided tours, led by knowledgeable docents, last about 75 minutes and start from the Visitor Center. The venue offers free parking, but note that the house is not air-conditioned.   Tuesdays, Thursdays, and the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month at 1:00 p.m.

This Japanese garden features a light hill-scape, pond, cascading 25-foot waterfall, and a formal teahouse designed by Kinzuchi Fujii. It is the oldest continuing chamber music series in Southern California. Offered from October through May at 6 PM, Classical Sundays at Six features chamber, orchestral, and solo artists from Southern California and around the world, streaming live and on demand.
