Hollywood Farmers’ Market
Today, the Market hosts 160 farmers, producers, and food artisans who specialize in every crop that’s grown seasonally around the state and a large variety of culinary perspectives and practices from around the globe. Everyone from local families who live in the neighborhood to some of Southern California’s most respected chefs use the Market as their weekly food source and walk-in pantry.
Main Street Santa Monica Farmer’s Market
Approximately 25 certified California farms, live entertainment, activities, and Main Street based retail vendors present a vibrant atmosphere where locals and visitors alike shop and spend the morning with friends and family. This market was established in 1995 and is a collaboration with the Main Street Business Improvement Association, Ocean Park resident group, the Victorian and the Heritage Museum. The Atwater Village Farmers Market features over two dozen of Southern California’s best local farms, showcasing their diverse range of organic herbs and lettuces. Additionally, there are various local food vendors offering a wide selection of specialty food items like salsa, hummus, tamales, and more. The market is a family-friendly event, with live entertainment provided by local musicians.
Pacific Islander Festival
Join the Aquarium for its twentieth annual Pacific Island Festival. This festival features traditional music and dance, cultural displays, and craft demonstrations and celebrates Pacific Islander cultures, including Hawaiian, Tahitian, Samoan, Tongan, Chamorro, Marshallese, and Māori.
