Watts Willowbrook Farmers’ Market, in collaboration with the MLK Outpatient Center, opened in November 2023. The market will serve a diverse customer base and continue to grow in both attendance and reputation as a market that is outstanding in the quality of the fresh food that is offered weekly. Atwater Village FarmersMarket
The Atwater Village Farmers Market features over two dozen of Southern California’s best local farms, showcasing their diverse range of organic herbs and lettuces. Additionally, there are various local food vendors offering a wide selection of specialty food items like salsa, hummus, tamales, and more. The market is a family-friendly event, with live entertainment provided by local musicians.
Topanga Banjo Fiddle Contest and Folk Festival
This musical festival features four stages and over 100 instrumental and singing contestants from western style to jamming musicians. The event also includes folk arts booths, , good eats, and children’s activities. Since 1961, this event has been Southern California’s premier old-time and bluegrass music festival.
Bug Fair 2024
Join the Natural History Museum (NHM) for a two-day festival celebrating our winged, multi-legged, and squirmy friends for the 38th annual Bug Fair. Visit a variety of exhibitors and see everything from exotic insect collections to unique and cool bug-related products. The Fair is May 18 and 19, 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Advanced, online tickets are highly recommended.
