Pacific Opera Project presents the U.S. premiere of a rare Vivaldi opera, “Ercole su’l Termodonte,” based on the Greek myth of the ninth Labor of Hercules. Set in the Baroque era, POP will transform the Highland Park Ebell Club into a baroque opera house, complete with hand-build box seating, pre-show experiences, food, and wine. Costumes are highly encouraged! This is not just an opera, but an immersive experience into the 1500s that cannot be missed.

Team Taiko Japanese Drum Lessons

Taiko is a drumming practice originating from Japan that has become a global phenomenon over the last several decades. World-renowned taiko artist ManMan Mui teaches drumming patterns over 8-week sessions. Lessons include developing rhythm, body awareness, and technique as students make music together as a team. Team Taiko is open to all skill levels and abilities, from beginners to seasoned musicians.   $5 – $25 per class in person or online
