ABOUT THE SOUL OF MUSIC

The Soul of Music Project is a week of music development for middle school and high school teens through the Madrid Theatre’s community outreach program. It is an investment into teen musicians in and around Canoga Park and greater Los Angeles focused on giving young musicians the confidence and tools they need to bridge over into the professional music world. The Soul of Music Week consists of three programs:

Soul of Music Project: Succeeding in the Music Industry – A consecutive five day workshop series for teens–12 to18 years old–focused on developing skills, tools, and tricks of the trade from working musicians as an investment in the next generation of musicians and to prepare them for a career in music. Workshops are Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. June 12 to June 16, 2023 held at the UNITE Cultural Center in Canoga Park. Special guest artist lineup and Eventbrite registration coming soon.
