Exhibition on View April 13 to August 3, 2024

The exhibition brings together artists Michael Massenburg, Aiseborn, and Mr. B Baby to explore the intersections of family,
culture, and community. Curated by Guillermo Aviles-Rodriguez, PhD., the works will be on view Wednesday to Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., from April 13 to August 2024, with a reception/artist talk and performance by Nedra Wheeler Trio taking place Sunday, June 9 at 1:00 p.m. Admission is free.

STORRIER STEARNS JAPANESE GARDEN

This Japanese garden features a light hill-scape, pond, cascading 25-foot waterfall, and a formal teahouse designed by Kinzuchi Fujii. The garden is considered by many to be a masterwork, and it demonstrates the adaptability of Japanese culture in modern America.   Register in advance at the website. After-School Program End of Year Recital

EDLA!’s  annual recital is a professional performance opportunity for all our After-School students, who perform with tailor-made costumes in a professional venue with professional sound and lighting. This year’s recital, with a Little Mermaid theme, will be May 17 – 19, 2024 at the Barnsdall Gallery Theatre, and will give hundreds of students the opportunity to showcase what they have learned.
