Join us for an afternoon of science and art!

First, the MMCC Education Team will tell us about how the MMCC’s pinniped patients are recovering from the domoic acid emergency on our coasts. Artist-Teacher Apolline Figueroa will then lead us in an art workshop designed to boost the Pinniped Patients spirits! We will learn to create Pop-Up get well soon cards for our favorite mammal friends, and thank you cards for the hardworking Marine Mammal Care Center!

We cannot wait to have you join us!

All supplies will be provided and everyone is welcome.

ArtLab will once again take place in-person at Angels Gate Cultural Center due to MMCC’s closure while dealing with the influx of patients treated for Domoic Acid exposure. Please come to Building H at Angels Gate Cultural Center. Masks preferred, not required. All ages welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

The event will begin promptly at 1pm. Please be sure to be at the Angels Gate Cultural Center by that time.
