60 musical whistlers from 10 countries will gather to meet and compete with popular and classical songs to vie for the title of World Champion Whistler. The 4th biennial Masters of Musical Whistling International Festival and Competition takes place September 22-24 in Hollywood, CA at Barnsdall Gallery Theater.
Get your mind blown with five competitive divisions, including live band accompaniment, self-accompaniment, and other unique performances throughout the weekend. If you are looking to experience a unique and amazing musical journey, look no further. “Whistling is an ancient communicative device with an artistic potential that is being recognized around the world,” says event producer Carole Anne Kaufman, a two-time whistling world champion known globally as the Whistling Diva.
The event is brought to you by Creative Being, a nonprofit to promote community, creativity, and artistic self-expression.
