Celebrate Women’s History Month with March’s Family Art Workshop with Artist-Teacher Karen Emonts!

It’s Family Art Workshop with Angels Gate Cultural Center!

Join us for March’s Family Art Workshop in celebration of Women’s History Month! We will be honoring the work of Contemporary Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama, known for her extensive use of polka dots in her painting, sculpture and installations. For this workshop we will be taking inspiration from her floral imagery to create a cut paper collage of fanciful flowers using bright color, pattern, organic shapes and lots of polka dots: Kusama’s trademark symbol for infinity.

Do not hesitate to claim your spot for this fun experiment for the whole family! Claim your spot on Eventbrite: https://ow.ly/OvfK50QKkgU
If the event is sold out, we encourage you to come in case there are no-shows.

Meet your teacher in Building A’s Gallery and we will walk over to the Rorke Classroom in G together.
