Flavors of Origin Nutritional Food Festival

Council District
City Council District 11

For the second year of the Flavors of Origin Festival, this free, community event will “take over” the Mar Vista Farmers Market during the Sunday market.

Featuring a unique stage, curated programming, and local farmer and vendor participation, this family-friendly, international nutritional food festival will showcase diverse local farmers and food producers, spoken-word artists and folklore storytellers, local music performers, expert nutritionists, and family recipes from the African Diaspora and Afro-Latino communities.

Attendees may learn about the geographical history of the featured communities, the use of specific ingredients found in traditional dishes, and will leave with free recipes and grocery card guides!
