EDLA!’s annual recital is a professional performance opportunity for all our After-School students, who perform with tailor-made costumes in a professional venue with professional sound and lighting. This year’s recital, with a Little Mermaid theme, will be May 17 – 19, 2024 at the Barnsdall Gallery Theatre, and will give hundreds of students the opportunity to showcase what they have learned. Performances are May 17 at 5 pm and 7pm; May 18 at 10 am, 12 pm, 2 pm, 4 pm , 6:30 pm; and May 19 at 12 pm, 2pm, 4 pm, and 6 pm. |

Watts Willowbrook Farmers’ Market, in collaboration with the MLK Outpatient Center, opened in November 2023. The market will serve a diverse customer base and continue to grow in both attendance and reputation as a market that is outstanding in the quality of the fresh food that is offered weekly. Rise Together: A Call to Action for Mental Well-being
A mental health awareness conference for young adults, ages 18-30. Featuring: DJ, live music performances, 360-degree photo booth, art healing workshops, poetry & journaling workshops, financial wellness workshops, free continental breakfast and taco bar lunch, speakers, health and wellness resources, housing and career resources, free T-shirt and swag, and much more.
