The Museum of Latin American Art is excited to once again invite you to celebrate the Afro-Latinx Festival onsite at MOLAA on Sunday, February 25, 2024!

MOLAA’s Afro-Latinx Festival celebrates the cultural diversity of the Americas and the African influence in Latin America! MOLAA’s Afro-Latinx Festival highlights the importance of African legacy in Latin America through food, art workshops, live performances, Afro-Latinx owned businesses, and a live DJ performance. Victorian Christmas

Christmas Holiday display of our finest antiques, Santa Clauses, angels, choir boys, and village scenes that depict Dickens’s Victorian Christmas. Our Christmas tree will be decorated with our collection of antique ornaments and there will be a display of vintage Christmas cards.

Tour of the Historic Lanterman House

Discover the architectural charm of the Lanterman House, a historic site surrounded by patios and featuring thirty-two French doors. Guided tours, led by knowledgeable docents, last about 75 minutes and start from the Visitor Center. The venue offers free parking, but note that the house is not air-conditioned.   Tuesdays, Thursdays, and the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month at 1:00 p.m.

STORRIER STEARNS JAPANESE GARDEN

This Japanese garden features a light hill-scape, pond, cascading 25-foot waterfall, and a formal teahouse designed by Kinzuchi Fujii. Classical Sundays at Six- St. James in the City

Classical Sundays at Six is now presented at St. James in the City as part of our broader offerings of Great Music at Saint James. It is the oldest continuing chamber music series in Southern California. Offered from October through May at 6 PM, Classical Sundays at Six features chamber, orchestral, and solo artists from Southern California and around the world, streaming live and on demand. They are also live-streamed on their website.
