Dragon boat racing is an amateur water sport with roots in a 2,000-year-old Southern Chinese folk ritual. While competition has taken place annually for more than 20 centuries, dragon boat racing has emerged in modern times as an international sport. This is one of the largest dragon boat competitions in California. Come join us for all the fun, food, and excitement.

THE FORD 2026 SUMMER SEASON

The historic Ford Theatre presents a summer season of music, dance, theatre, film, and family events in its 1,200- seat outdoor amphitheater. Picnicking is encouraged! Food and beverages are available for purchase on site.
