The Encuentro de Jaraneros de California presents an annual festival that showcases many of California and Veracruz’s finest Son Jarocho ensembles. Jarocho musicians and dancers will have the opportunity to meet, study, share, and perform in a united celebration. Fandango takes place between 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

The Musicians at Play (MAP) Foundation is launching the Civic Orchestra of Los Angeles with an inaugural concert on April 28th at 8:00 pm at the First Congregational Church of Los Angeles under the direction of Conductor and Music Director Anthony Parnther. The mission of the new Los Angeles-based 70-member orchestra is to provide career pathways, world-class training, and performance opportunities for young professional musicians in Southern California.
