Going on 20 years, McGroarty Arts Center’s holiday festival brings together community artisans, a student art show and sale, kids art-making station and art demos, live entertainment, a delectable baked goodies sale, and a variety of gourmet chili! Enjoy one of many chili options by purchasing a one-of-a-kind bowl crafted by McGroarty’s staff and students. ARTEONICA* revisits a lesser-known Latin American art movement, initiating a discussion between a group of innovative computer artists from the 1960s and 1970s, and contemporary Latin American artists whose work is influenced by their legacy. Despite the political and social conflicts across Latin America in the ’60s and ’70s, artists in the region explored the interconnectedness of art, science, and technology during that time.
