Water Proctors Book Party
To honor Native American Heritage Month, we will read We Are Water Protectors /Somos Guardianes del Agua by Carol Lindstrom. The book tells the story of an Anishinaabe girl, a young water protector, who takes a stand to protect one of Earth’s most precious resources. We will practice reading aloud, share our thoughts about the story, and complete an art project.
