In collaboration with LA Park and Rec, The Colors of Compassion is hosting its 2nd Annual Spring Art Showcase during the Spring Egg Hunt event at Granada Hills Recreation Center. The free community celebration will take place on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Families can enjoy egg hunts by age group, arts and crafts, games, face painting, contests, jumpers, food, and a special art show. Guests are encouraged to bring their own egg hunting baskets and join a fun, family-friendly day celebrating creativity and community.

Our Bodies Are Memories of Our Bodies: Siapo ma Solo

siapo—indigenous Samoan barkcloth abstraction—and solo—poetry in the Samoan genre and worldview, here composed in English—by Fa’afafine, non-binary Samoan artist Dan Taulapapa McMullin. Printed on cloth with ink painting, these works embody the fa’asamoa understanding that the body itself is an archive, carrying ancestral and personal memory through the mana of social and environmental relationships.
