DCA grantee, Develop Skills and Transcend Limits the Arts (DSTL), presents Conchas y Café bilingual community writing workshop series. The 15-week virtual course is offered twice a year (spring and fall) and explores skills in poetry and other forms of creative writing. 

Adult writers of all skill levels are welcome to join. This season’s theme is "Birds and Galaxies / Pájaros y galaxias." The Fall 2025 semester will contribute to the publishing of Conchas y Café Zine, Vol. 11, in summer 2026.

FALL Class Dates: September 2, to December 16, 2025 [*No class on November 11, 2025 (Veteran's Day) and November 25, 2025 (Thanksgiving Break)]

Days and Times: Tuesdays (weekly); 6:30 PM–8:00 PM

Art Museum at The Huntington – Spotlight: There-bound by Enrique Martínez Celaya

Enrique Martínez Celaya’s There-bound mural welcomes guests to The Huntington’s Borderlands installation. Exploring identity, space, and migration, the artist paints on the glass façade to bridge interior and exterior experience through Latinx perspectives.
