Since 1998 DANCES WITH FILMS has grown from presenting a handful of films to nearly 200 each year… from only narrative features and shorts to include the top documentaries, music videos tv & web on the circuit today. In 2007 DWF brought a new commitment to the indie world with the advent of the 2 Minute, 2 Step Short Film Challenge where we actually shoot 10 films during the festival and present them to enthusiastic audiences.

The Norton Simon Museum houses a world-renowned collection of art from South and Southeast Asia, including examples of the rich sculptural and painting traditions that have developed in this region for more than 2,000 years.
This exhibition showcases works by Asian diasporic artists that explore the process of unmaking and remaking the self. Focusing on art as a site of radical reimagination, the exhibition presents a cross-generational conversation about the liberatory possibilities inherent in the continuous, messy, and sometimes contradictory process of forming social identity.
Christmas Holiday display of our finest antiques, Santa Clauses, angels, choir boys, and village scenes that depict Dickens’s Victorian Christmas. Our Christmas tree will be decorated with our collection of antique ornaments and there will be a display of vintage Christmas cards.
Join us for a screening of the 2019 film Driveways, starring Hong Chau and Brian Dennehy and directed by Andrew Ahn. A lonesome boy accompanies his mother on a trip to clean out his late aunt’s house, where he ends up forming an unexpected friendship with the retiree who lives next door.
Free Citizenship classes. Learn the civics, government, interview, and language skills needed for the Naturalization process. Students must have a green card.
