The Musicians at Play (MAP) Foundation is launching the Civic Orchestra of Los Angeles with an inaugural concert on April 28th at 8:00 pm at the First Congregational Church of Los Angeles under the direction of Conductor and Music Director Anthony Parnther. The mission of the new Los Angeles-based 70-member orchestra is to provide career pathways, world-class training, and performance opportunities for young professional musicians in Southern California.

Stories and Voices from L.A. Chinatown is the first in the series Archive Alive, a new collaboration between The Huntington Library, Art Museum, and Botanical Gardens; the Library Foundation of Los Angeles; and the Los Angeles Public Library.
