The historic Ford Theatre presents a summer season of music, dance, theatre, film, and family events in its 1,200- seat outdoor amphitheater. Picnicking is encouraged! Food and beverages are available for purchase on site.

Explore the global history of block printing and view works spanning multiple cultures and time periods. Presented in the Resnick Pavilion, the show examines how printed images circulated widely and shaped artistic exchange across regions.

The nine immense paintings in this exhibition are the work of Buddhist monk Shashi Dhoj Tulachan, a second-generation thangka artist living in Tuksche, a remote village in Mustang, Nepal. The practice of thangka painting is centuries old and is carried out by highly trained monks for the purpose of teaching about Buddha and the tenets of the Buddhist religion.

This recreated 1890s general store and herb shop reflects how Chinese immigrants built self-sufficient community spaces within the Garnier Building. Visitors encounter period merchandise, banking and postal services, and a traditional Chinese medicine herb shop with references to acupuncture and herbal remedies.
