The annual boat parade has celebrated 61 years of festive light displays, delighting Los Angeles and its visitors. Head to the LA Waterfront for the Los Angeles Harbor Holiday Afloat Parade in the Port of Los Angeles Main Channel.
L.A. Harbor Holiday Boat Parade Viewing Spots  
Starts at East Basin near Banning’s Landing Community Center in Wilmington and takes approximately 90 minutes to cover the entire parade route up the Port’s Main Channel. Several viewing points along the Main Channel include:
  • California Yacht Marina
  • California Cafe in Wilmington
  • The Battleship IOWA, the Los Angeles Maritime Museum, 600 Sampson Way, San Pedro
  • West Harbor (old Port O’ Call Village), 1100 Nagoya Way, San Pedro
  • the Cruise Ship Promenade at Harbor Boulevard and Swinford Street in San Pedro
  • 22nd Street Landing, 141 W. 22nd Street, San Pedro
  • Cabrillo Way Marina, 2293 Miner St., San Pedro
  • Cabrillo Marina, 224 Whaler’s Walk, San Pedro

Moompetam American Indian Festival

You are invited to join the Aquarium of the Pacific for its twentieth annual Moompetam American Indian Festival. This celebration features traditional cultural craft demonstrations, storytelling, music, and dance. The festival celebrates indigenous California maritime cultures, including Tongva, Chumash, Acjachemen, Costanoan, Luiseño, and Kumeyaay. General admission is required. Free for Aquarium members with reservations.
