East West Players’ Theatre for Youth Touring Production presents the the story of  Kailani, an 18-year-old senior and star athlete, at Maui High School. While anxiously waiting to find out if she’s been accepted into her dream school, Patsy Mink, the first Asian-American congresswoman and former valedictorian of Maui High school, appears before her. As Patsy walks Kailani through the many trials and tribulations she faced throughout her political career and life, Kailani realizes that no matter how many setbacks she encounters, she can succeed as long as she perseveres. Form and Function in the Ancient Americas

Vincent Price Art Museum’s permanent collection includes artworks from ancient civilizations in Central and South America, with a concentration of art from West Mexico and Peru. Form and Function in the Ancient Americas highlights our pre-Columbian collection’s wide range of civilizations. Cultures from the Nayarit-Jalisco-Colima region of West Mexico (2000 – 1000 BCE) to the Chimú of Peru (900-1500 CE) are featured.

Featuring Los Angeles-based Colombian artist Carolina Caycedo, We Place Life at the Center is an exhibition, publication, and pedagogical platform that directs dialogue and points of exchange among art, science, and environmental justice in the Americas. Caycedo’s multi-disciplinary practice engages with water and land stewardship, food sovereignty, and fair energy transition using Indigenous and eco-feminist frameworks.

Taming the Desert: Resilience, Religion, and Ancestors in Ancient Peru

The exhibition features 34 Moche and Nazca ceramics and textiles drawn from the collections of LACMA and the Fowler Museum at UCLA. The works depict fantastic creatures, powerful ancestors, and mythological beings—illustrating how ancient Andean societies sought spiritual meaning and help in an unpredictable and challenging world.

Christmas Holiday display of our finest antiques, Santa Clauses, angels, choir boys, and village scenes that depict Dickens’s Victorian Christmas. Our Christmas tree will be decorated with our collection of antique ornaments and there will be a display of vintage Christmas cards.
