Bob Baker Marionette Theater & Hollyhock House present PUPPETS IN THE PARK!

Join us for the first event in a series of FREE magical mornings on Hollyhock House’s west lawn!

Presented by the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs and Bob Baker Marionette Theater, the 30-minute “Traveling Jamboree” puppet shows and stay for art activities! 

A fitting stage for puppet shows, Hollyhock House was commissioned by Aline Barnsdall, a children's theater producer who gifted Barnsdall Art Park to the City of Los Angeles in 1927. Bring a blanket, sing along, and make art with us!

Free Sunday Shows!

Performances: 9:30–10 am & 11–11:30 am (gates open at 9 am)
 

Family art activities: 10–11 am & 11:30 am–12:30 pm

No RSVP needed. All activities will take place outside; interior spaces will be closed for this morning event. Lawn capacity is limited and pets aren't permitted. Hollyhock House and all Barnsdall Art Park facilities are operated by the City's Department of Cultural Affairs.

THE FORD 2026 SUMMER SEASON

The historic Ford Theatre presents a summer season of music, dance, theatre, film, and family events in its 1,200- seat outdoor amphitheater. Picnicking is encouraged! Food and beverages are available for purchase on site.
