This is a lesbian-femme mixer. Mallorca (bad flower), a historically offensive term, is now reclaimed by the femme and celebrated for its visible empowered disruption. The event includes lesbian vendors, art panels, and live entertainment.

The Los Angeles River Farmers Market

First Thursday ArtWalk

One of the first in the region, the monthly First Thursday ArtWalk happens between Pacific Ave, Harbor Boulevard, 4th and 9th streets. The First Thursday ArtWalk showcases all arts disciplines throughout the arts community. Begun in 1997, by a group of restaurateurs, artists, and urban planners, it was designed to revitalize businesses and the arts by creating a regular attraction to bring the community into downtown San Pedro. Guided ArtWalk Tours will begin in March 2024, for a small fee.

On Thursday, October 3, 2024, at 7:30 p.m. the final performance in the Pay-What-You-Will series is Bernardo Cubria’s The Hispanic/Latino/Latina/Latinx/Latine Vote.  Attendees are encouraged to arrive by 6:30pm to participate in a 30-minute, pre-performance Q&A with cast members.
