Charlotte Brontë and Octavia E. Butler are presented as chronological bookends, get a behind-the-scenes look at two centuries of the lives of women writers through ephemera, letters, and journals. Butler is celebrated as a foundational queer artist, particularly within Black speculative fiction, sci-fi, and feminist art.
