The Norton Simon Museum houses a world-renowned collection of South and Southeast Asian art that includes examples of the rich sculptural and painting traditions that developed in this region over more than 2,000 years. In her first solo museum exhibition in the US, We Are Extraterrestrial, Alice Wang showcases recent prints, glass sculptures, newly commissioned ceramic sculptures, film, and an artist’s book that reflect the artist’s deep curiosity for the space between the real and the imaginary.
