The Museums of the Arroyo Day is back in-person for 2024! Join the celebration at six area museums for a day of family fun, historical explorations and architectural discoveries. For more than 30 years, the Museums of the Arroyo have welcomed guests for a free day with special programming.

Learn about the significance of Henna, how to make Henna, and get your own Henna tattoos! Participants will learn about the significance of Henna across cultures, the process of making Henna paste, and its application, before walking away with their own small Henna tattoos.

Learn about the significance of henna, its cultural roots, and the process of making it. Participants will have the opportunity to create their own henna tattoos in this interactive session.
Join the weekly Latin Jazz Sessions, led by Matthew Hernandez, for an introduction to various Latin music styles, including cha-cha, boleros, salsa, cumbia, and merengue. Open to all ages, these sessions provide sheet music and drumming pattern worksheets. No prior musical experience is necessary, and instruments are available for use.
Women In Film (WIF) is excited to host FROM IDEA TO SCREEN- EMILY GROOMS, featuring works (episodes, short films, scenes, features) created by the class of the 2024 Fellowships. A virtual event is schedule for Thursday, May 22, from 6:00 to 7:40 p.m. and in-person event is scheduled Tuesday, June 3, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at WIF Headquarters.
