A Republican congresswoman and a gay male liberal playwright find an unexpected connection in a chance encounter. Despite their ideological and chronological differences, the two form an unlikely bond. Indeed, the similarities they discover between a life in politics and a life in the arts propel what appears to be a budding friendship. This moving one-act play explores politics, art, and friendship.

SS LANE VICTORY, NATIONAL HISTORIC LANDMARK

A living museum and memorial in the Port of Los Angeles, honoring the service and sacrifices of U.S. Merchant Marine sailors and Navy Armed Guardsmen.
