Recent times have seen an increase in violence and hate crimes again Indian in the United States. Places of worship, statues of peace symbols (Mahatma Gandhi) have been vandalized and hate crimes have increased against Indian Americans and Hindus in particular. Let arts guide us toward healing emotional injuries, increase understanding of oneself and others, and develop a capacity for self-reflection. Let us use the calming power of traditional Indian performing arts to heal the scars of racial lacerations against Indian Americans. Join us for a dance presentation UNITY AND STRENGTH.

Christmas Holiday display of our finest antiques, Santa Clauses, angels, choir boys, and village scenes that depict Dickens’s Victorian Christmas. Our Christmas tree will be decorated with our collection of antique ornaments and there will be a display of vintage Christmas cards.
Music in the Chinese Garden
Enjoy traditional Chinese music on Wednesday afternoons in the Garden of Flowing Fragrance. A different solo musician performs each week, playing unamplified melodies on classical instruments including the dizi, pipa, and erhu. Let the music transport you to another time and place as you stroll through one of the most magical landscapes in Southern California.
Art Show: Through the Lens of California History
On Wednesday, May 14, 2025,from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., at Cantabria Senior Apartments, EngAGE, Inc, presents Art Show: Through the Lens of California History. Residents explored art mediums and techniques that reflect the diverse cultural and environmental landscapes present in California’s history. Senior artists at affordable housing communities in the valley will be displaying their art. Their work is a culmination of a 14-week writing class produced by EngAGE, Inc.
