Visual Medicine: Drawing, Journaling and Cartooning for Healthcare workers is designed to quickly build drawing confidence for non-artists.

Participants will experience fast paced and playful techniques to generate journal entries, simple cartoons and collaborative exercises making drawing accessible and successful for all students at any skill level.

Expressive writing, drawing and journaling has shown to help people destress, improve mood, memory, sleep, and build self-confidence. Just 45 minutes of creativity allows participants to deeply focus and lower cortisol levels.

The class is free and participants will go home with their own art supplies to continue their drawing practice.

The workshop is composed of 7 class sessions, Tuesdays’s 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm from February 28th to April 11th.
