Watts Willowbrook Farmers’ Market, in collaboration with the MLK Outpatient Center, opened in November 2023. The market will serve a diverse customer base and continue to grow in both attendance and reputation as a market that is outstanding in the quality of the fresh food that is offered weekly.

Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles’ Pride Concert – Solid Gold

The Chorus’ Pride concert celebrates three legendary musical artists. The 200-member Chorus performs timeless hits by Aretha Franklin, Dionne Warwick, and Whitney Houston. The show will feature dance productions and an unforgettable medley with Priyanka and Latrice Royale, stars of Drag Race. The chorus will be joined by the Solid Gold Trio (Summer Nicole Greer, Jenelle Lynn Randall, and Amber Wright) for many of the numbers.

SAN FERNANDO BUDDHIST TEMPLE OBON FESTIVAL

One of the largest Buddhist gatherings in Los Angeles. Attendees can participate in the tradition of Japanese Obon Odori dancing, enjoy other cultural and ethnic experiences such as taiko drum performances, Japanese calligraphy, doll exhibits, and try various tasty ethnic foods.

Annual Independence Day Drone Light Show Festival

Summer Concerts at the Warner Center

Since 1975, the Valley Cultural Center has presented a series of free Concerts during the summer. Organized to enrich the lives of Valley residents, these concerts feature top pop, jazz, classical, folk, and world music performances in the afternoon at Warner Park. The series includes food, booth vendors, and a children’s play area.
