Sarah Maclay

COLA grantee Sarah Maclay is the author of three poetry collections — Music for the Black Room, Whore, and The White Bride (all U of Tampa Press), three chapbooks, and Fugue States Coming Down the Hall (collected in Scenarios: Scripts to Perform).

Her poetry and critical prose appears in APR, FIELD, Ploughshares, The Best American Erotic Poems: From 1800 to the Present, The Writers’ Chronicle, VerseDaily, Poetry International, and elsewhere. A Grisham Visiting Writer in 2009, her honors include a special mention in Pushcart Prize XXXI, an Albert and Elaine Borchard Fellowship, and the Tampa Review Prize in Poetry. She teaches creative writing and literature at Loyola Marymount University.
