Interact Theatre Company presents five plays awarded America’s highest literary honor, the Pulitzer Prize for Drama. Join us on a captivating journey through the annals of modern dramatic literature with our curated staged readings of five theatrical masterpieces, presented in partnership with the Los Angeles Public Library, made possible in part by a grant from the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs, and produced by Barry Heins and Kristen Egermeier. These performances will be held on the second Saturday of each month between January through May 2024.

Girl From the North Country
It’s 1934 in Duluth, Minnesota. We meet a group of wayward travelers whose lives intersect in a guesthouse filled with music, life, and hope. Girl From the North Country reimagines 20 legendary songs by Bob Dylan as they’ve never been heard before. Beethoven’s Fidelio with Dudamel and Deaf West Theatre
Dudamel conducts, in collaboration with the Deaf West Theatre, an innovative production of Beethoven’s Fidelio, created for both deaf and hearing audiences. A story told through the composer’s music sung by hearing vocalists accompanied by the expressive gestural poetry of sign language by deaf actors.
