We’re back on “The Avenue” so get ready to groove and swing to the smooth sounds of jazz at the 28th Annual Central Avenue Jazz.
Our free family-friendly festival brings together the entire Los Angeles community to celebrate jazz greats such as Gerald Wilson, Ernie Andrews, Billie Holiday, Charles Mingus and Dexter Gordon, while putting a spotlight on the younger emerging artists that are continuing this rich art form.

When: Saturday, Sept. 23, 2023 from 11am – 7pm
Where: Central Avenue between Vernon Ave and Martin Luther King Blvd

Jazz and Blues performances will be featured on 2 Main Stages, in addition to the historic Dunbar Hotel.

*Enjoy diverse selection of culinary experiences
*Artwork from world renowned local artists featured in the Art Pavilion
*A variety of free health care screenings and other services at our Health & Wellness Pavilion
*Children are invited to enjoy games, arts & crafts and educational programs in our Youth Pavilion
