Ryan Porter is a native of Los Angeles who started playing trombone at 10 years old. He is a founding member of the West Coast Get Down jazz collective, toured with Stevie Wonder, Rihanna, Kanye West and Lauryn Hill, and worked on projects such as Kendrick Lamar’s Pimp a Butterfly and Kamasi Washington’s The Epic. Ryan has released four self-titled records, the latest “Force for Good” features Thundercat, and a host of incredible West Coast Musicians.
