AWOKE Foundation/The GR818ERS 14th annual A Family Affair Festival!

AWOKE Foundation is hosting a free festival open to the public for our summer arts and athletics programs culmination. Our event will have performances, open styles dance battle, live art, vendors, live music, and a car show.

The A Family Affair Festival (AFAFF) is a three day event: Thursday, August 15, Friday, August 16, and Friday, August 17!

8/16 – The Jam LIVE IN-PERSON at TAXCO THEATRE | 5pm-9pm | $10 Donation
Solo Prelims – Top 16 of the themed open styles dance battle.

8/17 – Grand Finale LIVE IN-PERSON at LANARK PARK – Canoga, Ca | 2pm-9pm | FREE 
Performances, Car show, Vendors, Food, Family activities + Top 8 – Finals of the Open Styles battle & much more.

Urban Bush Women – SCAT!… The Complex Lives of Al & Dot, Dot & Al Zollar

It is a love story set in a fictional jazz club where two people journey to Kansas City as part of the Great Migration. SCAT!
