The Sun Valley Youth Arts Center is pleased to present the 17th Annual Día de los Muertos Celebration. Join us for a fun-filled evening of Art Workshops, a Student Art Exhibition, Refreshments, and Entertainment, such as performances by Grammy Award winner Lorenzo Martinez y sus Gavilanes, and Grupo Bella and Vanessa, who are also recipients of a Grammy.

Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) is an indigenous ritual of Mexico celebrating life and the afterlife through art, music, and family unity. The celebration will conclude with an amazing ritual dance by Danza Temachtia Quetzacoatl. The public is welcome to participate in the community altar by bringing a photocopy/image of a loved one who has passed to place on the altar.
